Southwark tiles

Walking around Southwark on a cold and frosty winter morning, I was struck by how many areas of amazing tiles adorned the bridges and walls south of the Tate. In terms of urban architecture, it’s something of a forgotten art, as no council would waste the time on such detail these days. Shame.
