Under the bridge

My wander along the riverbank of the Thames included a number of bridges — with the work being carried out to Blackfriars Station you can’t help but feel the sheer weight of building going on above you. The scaffolding looks solid enough, but I didn’t wait around under the bridge for long enough to find out.

The contrast of the straight scaffold and the curved iron bridge supports particularly appealed to me.
